Returns and warranty.


Any discrepancy with your order must be reported to Tam Bikes within 48 hours of receipt. All damages caused during shipping must be reported to Tam Bikes  immediately. Please keep the original box and all packing material for inspection by the shipping carrier. Tam Bikes accepts the return of all unused merchandise in its original manufacturer's packaging up to 30 days from the date of purchase. For your safety, all food and drink items are not returnable. All items must be new and in unused condition with the original manufacturer's packaging and tags still attached. Items that have been washed or installed are not considered new and unused.

Please take care when packaging your return, it is the customer's responsibility to pay costs associated with the repair of items damaged in shipping due to improper packaging.

      Complete a Return and Exchange Form:

Use the return or exchange form attached to your receipt.

  • Bring your return to any UPS, FedEx, USPS or any other reputable carrier

  • If the item is of high value, please insure the shipment
  • Please note: Items damaged during the return process are the sole responsibility of the shipper, and any cost associated with the damage will be deducted from the refund. If the item is insured, a claim can be made with the carrier, and you will have recourse to recoup any cost associated with the damage.

Also, please note, all refused packages will be charged as if you are returning an order using a prepaid label.

For the fastest service, call us at 415 389-1900 to request an exchange or simply place a new order online or by phone. We'll ship your new item right away. We do need to charge you the purchase price, but once we receive your return, we'll credit you for the cost of the original item.


Tam Bikes stands behind all manufacturer’s warranties. Generally, warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship. Damage from abuse, neglect, accidents, and racing are not covered under any warranty. It is at the sole discretion of the manufacturer to repair or replace defective merchandise.

The manufacturer will determine if the item is warrantable and will determine repair, replacement or (on the rare occasion it cannot be repaired or replaced) credit. If a repair/replacement is not possible we reserve the right to offer an alternative of equal or greater value (with variances in color) or a partial refund proportional to the remaining life of the product.

Take photos and email them to [email protected] along with your order number, customer number, contact information, and product defect description. We will contact you with further instructions within the next business day. When sending warrantable items back, please include the original receipt.

Also note, labor and shipping are not covered by any warranty. You are responsible for all shipping costs (and all labor costs) associated with warranty evaluation and warranty repair/replacement. This will include shipping to and from us.

The warranty evaluation and repair/replacement process takes time. We appreciate your patience with us during this process.
