The newly redesigned EC70 Seatpost takes our superlight unidirectional carbon and applies our patent pending ISA technology - Independent Saddle Adjustment - which allows for completely independent fore-aft adjustment and saddle adjustment. With the 2 pitch adjustment bolts, the saddle angle gets locked into place as if you were adjusting limit screws, and unlike single bolt designs, you get adjustability and security. While it lacks the machined aesthetic so loved by Thomson fans and instead has a more industrial peened finish on its forged aluminum clamp head and Taperwall shaft, the EA70 offers one distinct benefit. Since the 10mm of setback is achieved at the head of the post, there is no maximum insertion limit. Like all of Easton"s seatposts, this one uses a two-bolt clamp design for infinite saddle tilt adjustability and security against mid-ride surprises. The 10mm clamp offset bridges the middle ground between a zero setback model and the 16mm offered on the Thomson setback.
